I am a street, portrait, and event photographer based in Austin, Texas. I strive to constantly learn, improve, and better myself so that I can continue to capture the beauty and uniqueness of every person and moment that life has to offer.

I originally started due to a bet. Seeing a co-worker's wedding photography, my first thought was, "I can do that!" From that conversation, a contest was born between the professional photographer and myself to see who could take the best photo. I bought a "professional camera" at a pawn shop for $125 dollars and the contest was on! We decided that we would take our best three photos and hang them on the wall of our office (I was a civil engineering designer at the time). We would allow the office to vote for their favorites and the photographer with the most points would win!

I didn't get one single point that day.

That experience set me on a journey to learn as much as I could about photography, the psychology of composition, and the physics of light.
